Simena Castle

Simena Castle is a historical castle located in Kaleköy Village, Demre, Antalya. Built by the Knights of St. John as a defense against pirates, it houses Byzantine-era ruins. Rock tombs and a small theater can also be found within the castle.

Onsite services are available for visitors and it is suitable for families with children.

You can explore the historical ruins while enjoying the magnificent view of Kekova from the summit. It is a popular stop, especially for those visiting the area by boat tour. Considering that it can be crowded in the summer months, it may be more enjoyable to go early in the morning.
